Lake El Salto, Lake Picachos, The Amazon and Crystal River: July 2024 - End of Season
The 2023-2024 season for Anglers Inn Mexico is in the history books and it goes down as one of the best on record. The heavy rains of a couple of years ago created a bonanza of spawning conditions, for the bass, the tilapia and the shad and this all contributed to a great 2023-2024 season.
Looking back, our Mexico guests included veterans of Anglers Inn trips, first-timers, couples and parents with siblings. Too many personal best catches were landed to count. Huge bass, not quite so large bass and doubles were customary every day.
Our Amazon adventures in January, February and March were met with ideal weather and river conditions. All our guests returned home with amazing stories of big fish, mysterious jungles, exceptional dining and lodging on the Amazon Lord and, of course, unmatched great service.
Guests at our Anglers Inn Floating Suites in Florida were treated to a wide range of fishing activities including offshore gag grouper and red snapper, snook, redfish and seatrout and Florida bass. The manatees were in full force over the winter with the migratory sea cows joining the year-round residents. Scalloping was a delight and the airboat rides were exciting. All of this while living on the water in our Floating Suites docked at Pete’s Pier. We even weathered through a major hurricane. The annual Manatee Festival in Crystal River was attended with a Floating Suites booth.

Did you land a trophy on any of your Anglers Inn trips and decide once you were home that a professional mount of the fish would be great? No worries. Upcoming Seasons in Crystal River
Scalloping in the Kings Bay area around Crystal River opened July 1 with great fanfare. Gag Grouper season opens September 1. Make your reservations for these popular activities that produce scrumptious dining of fresh scallops and outstanding fish filets.
